Tonight we went on a family adventure. That is what we call it so the kid will get in the car. When the finally ask where are we going we always say,"CRAZY". Our family adventures are just a drive to somewhere usually decided after we get in the car. We usually end up hiking. We love these adventures because it just us. Tonight we went up past Green Canyon. We were in the car (the truck was out of gas) so we couldn't go up high. Our goal was to see lots of fall leaves. We should have known that since we've had wind, snow, rain, and did I mention wind since the temperature changed there wouldn't be many leaves. But we didn't think that far in advance so we went. The boys wanted to find Elk I wanted leaves or pics I settled with pics. I love making the kids climb up on huge rocks, hills, or in brush and pretend for a moment I know how to take a picture. My delusion only lasts until I hit the click button then on the screen it shows my mess. That how it works at our house.
